My wonderful lovely wedding gift--vitamix 5000

This May, I got my precious new toy--vitamix 5000 blender for my parent as my wedding gift. I was so surprised and so exited to have this wonderful blender~~it's what I dreamed about all the time. Because I never owned a blender before (believe it or not), I started making something simple and easy--every morning healthy smoothie. I call it every morning healthy smoothie because I make this smoothie every morning as part of my breakfast--after I read a book talking about the "whole food"idea. (I will mention this great idea in the future)

Anyway, I start making this every morning healthy smoothie everyday with all different kind of combination of fresh fruits and veggies. And I use "Organic" ingredients as much as possible--that way I can eat the "all parts of food". And because this blender is so powerful, it can blend all stuff quickly and finely in no time. It retains all the nutrient inside the blender, so I can get all the nutrient from the food. And the best part of it is--it tastes really good!! Even I put something like celery, which has many many fibers, I couldn't taste any fibers in my smoothies.

So I really like this new toy. It helps me to change my life with a much healthier and easier way.
And I am now trying to use for different purposes--for my cooking and baking, and I think I can use it to make thousands of delicious recipes. I will definitely share more and more recipes and the way I use it in the future!!
